Dental bridges are a popular and effective solution for replacing missing teeth. Crafted from high-quality materials, these dental prosthetics consist of two or more crowns that anchor an artificial tooth, or pontic, into place. At Monsoon Dental, Dr. Bradley Konecnik employs the latest CAD/CAM milling technology to ensure a precise and comfortable fit. This advanced procedure allows for the creation of customized dental bridges that not only restore functionality but also enhance the aesthetic appeal of your smile.
Why Should I Get Dental Bridges?
Dental bridges offer a myriad of benefits for individuals with missing teeth. They can restore your ability to chew and speak properly, maintain the shape of your face, distribute the forces in your bite properly, and prevent remaining teeth from drifting out of position. Besides, getting a dental bridge can also boost your self-confidence by giving you a complete and beautiful smile.

The Benefits Of Dental Bridges
Improved Aesthetics
Dental bridges are designed to match the color, shape, and size of your natural teeth, providing a seamless and aesthetically pleasing result. They fill the gaps left by missing teeth, giving you a full and beautiful smile that can significantly boost your self-esteem and confidence.
Restored Functionality
Missing teeth can make it challenging to chew food properly and speak clearly. With a dental bridge, these functions can be fully restored. The bridge provides a stable and durable platform that allows you to eat your favorite foods and speak with ease.
Prevents Drifting of Teeth
When a tooth is lost, the remaining teeth can gradually shift into the empty space, leading to misalignment and potential bite issues. A dental bridge fills this gap, keeping the surrounding teeth in their correct position and promoting overall oral health.
The Dental Bridge Treatment Process
Initial Consultation and Preparation
The first step in the dental bridge process involves a comprehensive examination of your oral health. Dr. Bradley Konecnik will assess the condition of your teeth and gums to determine the best course of action. If a dental bridge is deemed suitable, the teeth on either side of the gap will be prepared to accommodate the bridge.
Taking Impressions and Temporary Bridge Placement
Once the teeth are prepared, precise impressions will be taken and sent to our state-of-the-art CAD/CAM milling machine. This technology creates an accurate model of your teeth, which is used to fabricate your custom dental bridge. In the meantime, a temporary bridge will be placed to protect your prepared teeth.
Dental Bridge Placement
When your custom dental bridge is ready, the temporary bridge is removed, and the new bridge is checked for fit and comfort. Once Dr. Konecnik is satisfied with the fit, the bridge is cemented into place, restoring your smile and dental functionality.
